# Danube vs Barn's

The clearest difference is ads: Barn's at none against Danube's shown. Danube's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 67) and review sentiment (32% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Danube holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Danube has 2.1K ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of Danube's written reviews are positive against 18% of Barn's's.

Danube ships an update every 9 days, Barn's fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
