# UOB vs AcadAI

The clearest difference is rating: AcadAI at 4.6 against UOB's 2.0. AcadAI also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 28). UOB's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AcadAI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. UOB asks for nothing beyond the download.

AcadAI holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AcadAI has 2.1K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of UOB's written reviews are positive against 48% of AcadAI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UOB ships an update every 2 months, AcadAI weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
