# Planes Live vs Flight Information Global

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Planes Live at 93K against Flight Information Global's 1.1K. Planes Live also leads on chart position (#11 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Flight Information Global's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planes Live sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Flight Information Global sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Planes Live against 4.7 for Flight Information Global. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planes Live has 93K ratings behind it against 1.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of Planes Live's written reviews are positive against 42% of Flight Information Global's.
