# Compel Church vs DABBS

The clearest difference is update cadence: DABBS at every 3 weeks against Compel Church's every 5 months. DABBS also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 26). Compel Church's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Compel Church against 4.9 for DABBS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DABBS has 1.3K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Compel Church ships an update every 5 months, DABBS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
