# RETIF vs STEPHY

The clearest difference is update cadence: STEPHY at every 7 months against RETIF's every 60 months. STEPHY also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RETIF ships an update every 60 months, STEPHY every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
