# RETIF vs KALO

The clearest difference is update cadence: KALO at every 3 weeks against RETIF's every 60 months. KALO also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RETIF ships an update every 60 months, KALO every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
