# RETIF vs LACOMY

The clearest difference is update cadence: LACOMY at every 15 months against RETIF's every 60 months. LACOMY also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RETIF ships an update every 60 months, LACOMY every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
