# Mail Notes vs Bonje

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mail Notes at every 4 months against Bonje's every 37 months. Bonje's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mail Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Bonje sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mail Notes ships an update every 4 months, Bonje every 37 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
