# BUKU vs Manga Reader Infinity

The clearest difference is rating: Manga Reader Infinity at 4.4 against BUKU's 1.9. Manga Reader Infinity also leads on ratings volume (7.6K vs 10) and chart position (#90 vs unranked). BUKU's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BUKU sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $33.99 per month and Manga Reader Infinity sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Manga Reader Infinity holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Manga Reader Infinity has 7.6K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BUKU ships an update weekly, Manga Reader Infinity fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
