# Notepad vs Meeting Notes & Work Planner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Meeting Notes & Work Planner at 71% against Notepad's 33%. Meeting Notes & Work Planner also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Notepad's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Meeting Notes & Work Planner sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notepad holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Meeting Notes & Work Planner has 1.9K ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Notepad's written reviews are positive against 71% of Meeting Notes & Work Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notepad ships an update every 3 months, Meeting Notes & Work Planner every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
