# Arrow Twisty vs Five Hoops

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Arrow Twisty at none against Five Hoops's 2. Arrow Twisty also leads on review sentiment (93% vs 67%). Five Hoops's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (120K vs 128). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Five Hoops sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Arrow Twisty asks for nothing beyond the download.

Five Hoops holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Five Hoops has 120K ratings behind it against 128, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Arrow Twisty's written reviews are positive against 67% of Five Hoops's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
