# ToDo List vs PrepChecklist

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ToDo List at 86% against PrepChecklist's 50%. ToDo List also leads on ratings volume (5.3K vs 7) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). PrepChecklist's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToDo List sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PrepChecklist sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ToDo List holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ToDo List has 5.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of ToDo List's written reviews are positive against 50% of PrepChecklist's.

ToDo List ships an update every 2 months, PrepChecklist weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
