# Untangle vs Find in Mind

The clearest difference is rating: Untangle at 4.3 against Find in Mind's 3.7. Untangle also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (147 vs 3). Find in Mind's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 38 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Find in Mind sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Untangle asks for nothing beyond the download.

Untangle holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Untangle has 147 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Untangle's written reviews are positive against 100% of Find in Mind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Untangle ships an update every 38 months, Find in Mind every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
