# Vampire Camera for ProCamera SimplyHDR vs Magic FX

The clearest difference is rating: Magic FX at 4.4 against Vampire Camera for ProCamera SimplyHDR's 2.9. Magic FX also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 23). Vampire Camera for ProCamera SimplyHDR's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vampire Camera for ProCamera SimplyHDR sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Magic FX sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic FX holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic FX has 3.3K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Vampire Camera for ProCamera SimplyHDR's written reviews are positive against 18% of Magic FX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
