# i vs Aidisk

The clearest difference is rating: Aidisk at 3.0 against i's 2.3. Aidisk also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). i's advantage is ratings volume (789 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aidisk holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: i has 789 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of i's written reviews are positive against 9% of Aidisk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

i ships an update every 3 months, Aidisk every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
