# SWPPD vs CPOD Calculator

The clearest difference is update cadence: CPOD Calculator at every 4 months against SWPPD's every 20 months. CPOD Calculator also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SWPPD ships an update every 20 months, CPOD Calculator every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
