# Flapper vs SyncJet

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SyncJet at 100% against Flapper's 75%. SyncJet also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Flapper's advantage is ratings volume (144 vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SyncJet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flapper has 144 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Flapper's written reviews are positive against 100% of SyncJet's.

Flapper ships an update fortnightly, SyncJet every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
