# Kaymbu vs SIDS Info

The clearest difference is rating: SIDS Info at 4.8 against Kaymbu's 4.5. SIDS Info also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.5). Kaymbu's advantage is ratings volume (327 vs 12) and review sentiment (90% vs 75%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SIDS Info holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kaymbu has 327 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Kaymbu's written reviews are positive against 75% of SIDS Info's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kaymbu ships an update monthly, SIDS Info every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
