# HyuPLUS vs FlexCalc

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HyuPLUS at none against FlexCalc's 1. HyuPLUS also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). FlexCalc's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlexCalc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. HyuPLUS asks for nothing beyond the download.

HyuPLUS ships an update every 4 months, FlexCalc every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
