# Guarding Vision vs Pixentra

The clearest difference is monetization model: Guarding Vision at free against Pixentra's free with in-app purchases. Guarding Vision also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 1). Pixentra's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pixentra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guarding Vision has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Guarding Vision ships an update monthly, Pixentra every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
