# Lufthansa Air Sonar vs FlyNet

The clearest difference is rating: FlyNet at 5.0 against Lufthansa Air Sonar's 4.3. FlyNet also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). Lufthansa Air Sonar's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 10%) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FlyNet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lufthansa Air Sonar has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Lufthansa Air Sonar's written reviews are positive against 10% of FlyNet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lufthansa Air Sonar ships an update every 8 months, FlyNet every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
