# FlipaClip vs Infinite Painter

The clearest difference is ads: Infinite Painter at none against FlipaClip's shown. FlipaClip's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (270K vs 10K). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlipaClip sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Infinite Painter sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlipaClip holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlipaClip has 270K ratings behind it against 10K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 67% and 67% positive.

FlipaClip ships an update fortnightly, Infinite Painter every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
