# RC vs WiFi UAV

The clearest difference is rating: RC at 5.0 against WiFi UAV's 2.9. RC also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). WiFi UAV's advantage is ratings volume (483 vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WiFi UAV has 483 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RC ships an update every 3 months, WiFi UAV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
