# RC vs VS GPS PRO

The clearest difference is rating: RC at 5.0 against VS GPS PRO's 2.1. RC also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). VS GPS PRO's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (110 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VS GPS PRO has 110 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RC ships an update every 3 months, VS GPS PRO every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
