# Alarm Clock vs OLED Clock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OLED Clock at 79% against Alarm Clock's 39%. OLED Clock also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Alarm Clock's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (568 vs 15). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alarm Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. OLED Clock asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alarm Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock has 568 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Alarm Clock's written reviews are positive against 79% of OLED Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alarm Clock ships an update every 3 weeks, OLED Clock every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
