# Calisthenics Mastery vs NightClose

The clearest difference is rating: NightClose at 5.0 against Calisthenics Mastery's 4.4. NightClose also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Calisthenics Mastery's advantage is ratings volume (136 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calisthenics Mastery sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and NightClose sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NightClose holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calisthenics Mastery has 136 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Calisthenics Mastery ships an update monthly, NightClose weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
