# Grid ToDo vs Grid Note

The clearest difference is ads: Grid Note at none against Grid ToDo's shown. Grid Note also leads on ratings volume (40 vs 11) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). Grid ToDo's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid ToDo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Grid Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grid ToDo holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 40 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Grid ToDo's written reviews are positive against 70% of Grid Note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
