# Grid ToDo vs SubMemo

The clearest difference is ads: SubMemo at none against Grid ToDo's shown. SubMemo also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid ToDo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SubMemo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grid ToDo ships an update every 5 weeks, SubMemo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
