# Stoppage Lite vs Emoji Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Emoji Diary at every 5 weeks against Stoppage Lite's every 24 months. Emoji Diary also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stoppage Lite ships an update every 24 months, Emoji Diary every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
