# VC88 vs Videoloft

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Videoloft at 100% against VC88's 50%. Videoloft also leads on ratings volume (66 vs 2). VC88's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VC88 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Videoloft has 66 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of VC88's written reviews are positive against 100% of Videoloft's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
