# NorCamp vs Nortrip

NorCamp and Nortrip both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of NorCamp's written reviews are positive against 38% of Nortrip's. NorCamp also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). Nortrip's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NorCamp sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Nortrip sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NorCamp against 5.0 for Nortrip. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NorCamp has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of NorCamp's written reviews are positive against 38% of Nortrip's.

NorCamp ships an update every 5 months, Nortrip every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
