# DRYVRS vs Rivian

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DRYVRS at 100% against Rivian's 45%. DRYVRS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Rivian's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DRYVRS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rivian has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of DRYVRS's written reviews are positive against 45% of Rivian's.

DRYVRS ships an update every 6 weeks, Rivian every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
