# 룩핀 vs 4xr

The clearest difference is ads: 4xr at none against 룩핀's shown. 4xr also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). 룩핀's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (87 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

4xr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 룩핀 has 87 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of 룩핀's written reviews are positive against 87% of 4xr's.
