# Hakara vs Reverse play

The clearest difference is update cadence: Reverse play at daily against Hakara's every 9 days. Reverse play also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Hakara's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hakara sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Reverse play sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reverse play holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hakara has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hakara ships an update every 9 days, Reverse play daily. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
