# Swampy Frog vs Frog Game!

The clearest difference is rating: Frog Game! at 4.7 against Swampy Frog's 4.0. Frog Game! also leads on ratings volume (95 vs 3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Swampy Frog's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frog Game! sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Swampy Frog asks for nothing beyond the download.

Frog Game! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frog Game! has 95 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Swampy Frog's written reviews are positive against 94% of Frog Game!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swampy Frog ships an update fortnightly, Frog Game! every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
