# Civil Engineering Construction vs Sharelight

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sharelight at free with in-app purchases against Civil Engineering Construction's subscription. Sharelight also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 12 months). Civil Engineering Construction's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Civil Engineering Construction sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and Sharelight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
