# 法大大 vs StepFun

The clearest difference is rating: StepFun at 4.3 against 法大大's 1.0. StepFun also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 23%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks). 法大大's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 法大大 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and StepFun sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepFun holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 8 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of 法大大's written reviews are positive against 50% of StepFun's.
