# Maxhaust vs BAANOOL IOT

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Maxhaust at 100% against BAANOOL IOT's 8%. Maxhaust also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). BAANOOL IOT's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (48 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BAANOOL IOT holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BAANOOL IOT has 48 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Maxhaust's written reviews are positive against 8% of BAANOOL IOT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Maxhaust ships an update every 6 weeks, BAANOOL IOT every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
