# Linedancer vs Fishing Points

The clearest difference is rating: Fishing Points at 4.7 against Linedancer's 4.0. Fishing Points also leads on ratings volume (31K vs 3) and chart position (#87 vs unranked). Linedancer's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and in-app purchases (none vs 12). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fishing Points sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Linedancer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fishing Points holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fishing Points has 31K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Linedancer's written reviews are positive against 65% of Fishing Points's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Linedancer ships an update monthly, Fishing Points fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
