# MiVia vs EGYM Event

The clearest difference is update cadence: MiVia at every 3 weeks against EGYM Event's every 2 months. MiVia also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MiVia ships an update every 3 weeks, EGYM Event every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
