# Pocket Hopper vs Block Dash

The clearest difference is ads: Pocket Hopper at none against Block Dash's shown. Pocket Hopper also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Block Dash's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pocket Hopper against 5.0 for Block Dash. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Dash has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
