# Yuzu eReader vs Sets Challenge

The clearest difference is rating: Yuzu eReader at 4.5 against Sets Challenge's 3.0. Yuzu eReader also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 4). Sets Challenge's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 22%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yuzu eReader holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yuzu eReader has 15K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Yuzu eReader's written reviews are positive against 33% of Sets Challenge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yuzu eReader ships an update every 3 months, Sets Challenge every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
