# Yuzu eReader vs CCU Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Yuzu eReader at 4.5 against CCU Connect's 3.4. Yuzu eReader also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 17). CCU Connect's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 22%) and iOS requirement (14.2 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yuzu eReader holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yuzu eReader has 15K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Yuzu eReader's written reviews are positive against 33% of CCU Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yuzu eReader ships an update every 3 months, CCU Connect every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
