# Yuzu eReader vs Speed reading

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Yuzu eReader at none against Speed reading's 3. Yuzu eReader also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 144). Speed reading's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed reading sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Yuzu eReader asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Yuzu eReader against 4.6 for Speed reading. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yuzu eReader has 15K ratings behind it against 144, so its average is the more settled of the two.
