# MIXT vs Peasant Pies

The clearest difference is monetization model: Peasant Pies at free against MIXT's free with in-app purchases. MIXT's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for MIXT against 4.8 for Peasant Pies. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MIXT has 1.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MIXT ships an update every 4 weeks, Peasant Pies every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
