# ioio vs Cozy Mahjong

The clearest difference is rating: ioio at 4.8 against Cozy Mahjong's 4.6. ioio also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Cozy Mahjong's advantage is ratings volume (304 vs 26). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ioio sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Cozy Mahjong sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ioio holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cozy Mahjong has 304 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of ioio's written reviews are positive against 86% of Cozy Mahjong's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
