# Real Razor Prank vs Prank Tools

The clearest difference is ads: Real Razor Prank at none against Prank Tools's shown. Real Razor Prank also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months). Prank Tools's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Razor Prank sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Prank Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prank Tools holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 830 and 797 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Real Razor Prank's written reviews are positive against 71% of Prank Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Real Razor Prank ships an update monthly, Prank Tools every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
