# Theremin Synth vs RedNova

The clearest difference is rating: RedNova at 5.0 against Theremin Synth's 3.2. RedNova also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). Theremin Synth's advantage is price ($2.99 vs $9.99) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Theremin Synth costs $2.99 and RedNova $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RedNova holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Theremin Synth has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
