# Ω SCANNER vs TAG Heuer Connected

The clearest difference is rating: TAG Heuer Connected at 4.6 against Ω SCANNER's 2.4. TAG Heuer Connected also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (392 vs 32). Ω SCANNER's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TAG Heuer Connected holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TAG Heuer Connected has 392 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Ω SCANNER's written reviews are positive against 32% of TAG Heuer Connected's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ω SCANNER ships an update every 4 months, TAG Heuer Connected fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
