# Selfridges vs Spara

The clearest difference is rating: Selfridges at 4.7 against Spara's 4.0. Selfridges also leads on ratings volume (6.6K vs 4) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Spara's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Selfridges holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Selfridges has 6.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Selfridges ships an update every 3 weeks, Spara weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
